CollaborACTION
The South Etobicoke Cluster periodically identifies priority issue areas that could benefit from CollaborACTION. Representatives from agencies, with an interest in collaborating to co-design and co-deliver solutions in these areas, often participate in a related working groups.

- Community groups including youth and school-based groups, service clubs and parent councils
- Applications from groups led by Black, Indigenous and equity-deserving people will be prioritized

ABOUT CAG
VISION: Activate resources and capacity building opportunities for community agencies and vulnerable community members
GOAL: To increase awareness and engagement on climate action at the local level by funding community-led projects, activities, and events that:
- Reduce emissions that contribute to climate change
- Educate and engage the public on climate change and climate action
- Advance the principles, priorities and actions of TransformTO Net Zero Strategy and the Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy
Structure: Strengthens the efforts and capacity of local community agencies, grassroots groups, and resident leaders championing environmental wellbeing. Foster collaboration and cooperation between various sectors

Ongoing Priorities
Digital Fluency
The digital fluency working group was disbanded in late 2022. However, partners involved continue to support seniors with accessing technology, data and training so they can stay connected to friends and family post- pandemic.
Vaccine Engagement Team
This collaborative inititive involves staff from nearly all cluster agencies and engages local leaders as community “ambassadors”. The team has a mandate to build vaccine confidence among community members, particularly those hardest to reach.
